This Privacy Policy explains how the Hello My Lovely Friend mobile app and the server at https://api.hellomylovelyfriend.fun handle personal data. Developer: Ecgwin Hawkridge. Last updated: 3 September 2026.
1. Who we are
The app is a care journal, memory album and Care Circle for the animals you live with. There are no accounts, passwords or third-party sign-in. The controller is Ecgwin Hawkridge, email EcgwinHawkridge0@icloud.com.
2. Data we collect
The app does not create an account. The device generates a random device identifier. When you join a Care Circle, the following may be stored on api.hellomylovelyfriend.fun:
- Device id, display name, language (Turkish or English) and time zone
- Care records (meal, water, walk, play, medicine, vet, grooming, weight, notes and similar)
- Photos you upload to the circle, with optional captions
- Paw Wheel spins, badges, and care-rhythm / level summaries
- Invite codes and circle membership (up to 3 devices)
Face ID lock, local reminders and media that stay on the device are not sent to the server. We do not use advertising identifiers, location history or analytics SDKs.
3. Why we process it
- To merge care history across the devices in your circle
- To compute statistics, care rhythm, level, badges and the weekly recap
- To give every device the same Paw Wheel deck on a given calendar day
We do not use this data for marketing, advertising or profiling, and we do not sell it.
4. Sharing
Records and photos are shared only with the other devices in your Care Circle. They are not shared with third parties except where the law requires it. Hosting is provided at https://api.hellomylovelyfriend.fun.
5. Retention and deletion
Data is kept while the circle is active. You can leave the circle, delete individual records, or use “Delete all data” in the app to erase the journal on this device. To ask us to delete server-side data, email EcgwinHawkridge0@icloud.com; we will act on the request within a reasonable time.
6. Children
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. Parents can contact us at EcgwinHawkridge0@icloud.com.
7. Security
Traffic uses HTTPS. A circle is protected by the device id and the circle secret. No method is completely secure.
8. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing. Contact EcgwinHawkridge0@icloud.com.
